LE DIMORE DEL TOSCANO

Emerging from the rubble of the 1693 earthquake, Baroque Catania continues to captivate visitors today. In this context of rebirth, the construction of the noble Palazzo del Toscano begins, designed by Gian Battista Vaccarini. It would later become the urban residence of the Paternò family, Marquises of Toscano, in the aftermath of Italy’s unification. Giovanbattista Paternò oversaw the realization of the decorations, furnishings, as well as the grand staircase and its frescoes, calling upon the city’s finest artists. The final appearance of the palace, square and monumental in the neorenaissance style, is credited to Milanese architect Errico Alvino, who completed its construction.

Keeping pace with evolving tastes and unwavering in the pursuit of beauty and quality urban living, The Homes of Toscano are born – a collection of elegant and functional apartments. A space that is intimate and welcoming, allowing you to make the most of your stay, just steps away from the main monuments and points of interest.”

BEAUTY ABOVE EVERYTHING

the story of Pucci Valenti

The name behind the Dimore del Toscano project is Pucci Valenti. Pucci is a “child of art”: fashion is a family passion introduced to her at a very young age by her parents. At just twelve years old, she entered the family business, learning to interpret the tastes and needs of customers. At twenty, Pucci was in New York, expanding her knowledge of the fashion world. Upon returning to her homeland, Sicily, she opened her own stores, taking a gamble on an emerging designer, Elisabetta Franchi, with whom she became a partner for the monobrand boutiques in Catania and Palermo. Pucci passed on her passion for this industry to her son Giuseppe, and in 2017, Khloèfemme.com was born – a high-fashion clothing e-commerce with customers worldwide and a physical store in Catania.

In the same spirit, characterized by attention to every detail, The Homes were born. During her travels, Pucci stayed in many hotels and apartments, studying their strengths. She decided to convert the warehouse of her stores, located within the Palazzo Del Toscano, into luxury apartments. In keeping with tradition, she named them Dimore del Toscano: a space rich in colors and creativity with five apartments designed to offer guests the utmost comfort, immersed in an elegant, meticulous, and fashionable environment.
